Host Family Accommodation in Bristol
The Bristol Language Centre is happy to arrange accommodation for all our students. Staying with a host is the ideal way to immerse yourself in the daily life of your host culture and will help you practise everyday English in a real environment.
There are two options of homestay accommodation: homestay half board and homestay self-catering.
The most popular half-board option costs £102* per week and includes breakfast and an evening meal during weekdays and three meals at the weekends. The student is treated as a family member, lives in a single room and shares all the living areas in the house. The self-catering option costs £85* and doesn't include any meals; however the student can use kitchen facilities to prepare his/her own meals.
Our carefully selected host families live within easy access to the school and we ensure that they have comfortable homes where you will have your own bedroom and a desk to work at. We visit all our host families regularly to ensure that our high standards are maintained.
We can also arrange for you to stay in a hostel, hotel or residential accommodation if you prefer. For students on longer stays, we can also arrange shared accommodation. Please contact the school if you require more information about these options.
We can also arrange a transfer from the aiport to your accommodation upon arrival. In order to book your accommodation or an airport transfer simply fill in the appropriate section of the application form.
* Please note that there is an £8 per week summer supplement during July and August
My
students are my extended family and we have learnt from each other both
culturally and other ways. There has been laughter and sometimes tears,
long conversations and discussions. Nearly all have kept in touch with
me, and with each other. We have a wonderful network
of friendship stringing well across Europe and beyond.
